Open Question: How do you identify edible cherries?

Whilst out walking my dogs I pass a lot of what look like cherry trees but I am not sure that is what they are. Some have red looking cherries some black ones. I have seen them on local golf courses and close local store etc. How can you tell they are edible cherries and is there anyway of finding out where the council plant cherry trees and apple trees etc, I live in Nottingham, England

Open Question: Is this a good birthday party? Family Party only though.?

It is a family party. My nieces twelve birthday. It is on December 26th. My whole family is going to San Diego for Christmas and her birthday falls on that time :) Here is her birthday schedule we planned: 7:00 am- Breakfast. 7:45 am- Leave home to rock climb. 8:30 am- Rock Climb. 10:00 am- Leave Rock Climbing Place. 10:30 am- Lunch at Corvettes. 12:00 pm- steer to Carlsbad. 1:30 pm- Spa for girls while guys golf. 4:30 pm- Bakery. 6:00 pm- steer home. 7:00 pm- Birthday Dinner. 8:00 pm- Gifts. 9:00 pm- Movie of her choice. ^ That is our WHOLE family. She is my world and my fiance and I decided to do a little day the next day with her before we go back home. Open Question: Do you think he like me?

Ok, so I was at a pool party last night, and there was this guy I haven't seen in about a month b/c school ended. But we were always pretty good friends. So we were every chilling in the water, and he comes out with some water gun and starts shooting me, so I was just like, "Hey! Are you just shooting me?" And he hesitated for a second and was just like, "Yeah..." So whatever, then we every played a boys vs. girls basketball game and he covered me the entire time, but would like tell me I had a good shot when ever I made it in the basket, but wouldn't do it to the other girls. So later, we every got bored of basketball and decided we were going to go night swimming again. (It was about 10 by now.) And he looked at me for a second and suggested we every go skinny dipping. (In a joking way.) but we were every playing a game called Dibble (You have to find a golf tee in the water) and I was the first person he chose for his team. And we ending up sitting together on those like, pool benches they have by the diving boards, and he would put his leg right next to mine and nice of like, rub his foot against mine while we were talking to the other people. But then he would randomly cease for like 5 minutes then do it again. It was weird. Someone said that I was sleeping over Alyssa (the girl was threw the party)'s home, and he was like, da*n, wish I was sleeping over too! So when he was leaving he gave everyone a hug, and mine was disappointing to say the least, it was like a half second pat on the back. I don't know, but it wasn't good. So later on, he called Alyssa to iChat, and when she walked out of the room, he asked me for my phone number and after we finished iChating, he started texting me, and was like, so I know you're going to bet Alyssa at monopoly (he know we were playing) and (I told him we were watching the orphan) he was like, thats such a great date movie. And we ended up talking about paranormal activity 2 and he decided we would look it together. And whatever, but I suggested we iChat tonight, but he was like, oh yeah totally, and we still hasnt called me even though we were texting before. I'm getting really mixed signals, and REALLY want to know if he likes me. I nice of like him. He's never acted like this before, so im confused! Sorry its really long and confusing..

Open Question: is this normal or is it a psychological problem? am i like going mad?

i know this probably sounds really weird but i was just wondering because ive never met anyone else who this has happened to. ive been scared of the dark ever since i can remember but its not just the dark its what i look, like my mind i guess just comes up with the creepyest weirdest like images i guess... in the dark. its difficult to explain but idk if its normal to look stuff in the dark thats not there. another thing is i came home from school and was home alone, i greeted the dogs and petted them every and gave them milkbones. i thought it was weird that my mom left gary (one of the dogs) inside when shes gone cuz he chews everything. he went down the hall to my bros room and i called my mom to ask if she wanted him out and she was like "wtf are you talking about hes with me sweeties the only dog i left inside". i thought it was weird but then just yesterday i was sitting outside and my papa had left to go golfing and wasnt expected home for about 3 hours. half an hour after he left i saw him steer by and i thought he was just going to park on the road since we were having a garage sale. he kept driving so i waved to him and he waved back. when he came home i asked him why he drove by, he said he was at the golf course the whole time and my sister said she didnt look the car when i saw it go by. its nice of freaking me out, is it like psychological or paranormal or something? sorry i dont think i made that very clear , my mom came home and i saw gary receive out of the car with her because he was with her every along. and at the same moment i saw my papa my sister didnt.

I'm 14 and I play golf seriously. Right now I play a lot of Junior Golf Tournaments and was wondering what would receive me noticed by College coaches in the Future. I also have a 5 Handicap. I stay hot every the time. Of course, AC helps. I play golf but cannot play in the heat. Even in the 80's I have to dump icy water down my shirt several times just to receive through the round. It is so annoying & many people just think you are crazy!!!

Open Question: Commercial Mortgage question?

To a commercial lender, would the attractions at a family entertainment middle be considered real property? Can the cost of the construction of each of those be added to the purchase price of the land, and be paid for with a commercial mortgage? I personally would say yes, because they are "improvements" put on the land. And just to clarify, I am talking about go-kart tracks, mini-golf courses, bumper boat ponds, etc. Could these be purchased with a mortgage, or would they have to be purchased below a regular commercial loan similar to one you would receive for working capital?

okay so im 15 and live in this place called plattsburgh, NY. and dont automatically think its like new york city cause trust me its way quieter, not alot of crime around here, and its way smaller. But anyways summer is half over and i feel like every ive done is sit home bored outta my mind. there is nothing here: a mall that sucks, movie theater but that gets boring after a while. this place is filled with stores and restaurants and quick food places and thats it. there is nothing to do for fun: no go carts anymore, no more mini golf i mean its so boring. i havent hung out with my pal in forever because every time we do were like "okay im bored what should we do?" i mean its so bad how boring my summer has been so far. what the hell can i do about it?

Open Question: swollen cheeks --- please help?

yesterday i noticed my cheeks looked a bit swollen-they didnt hurt this morning they still do not hurt, but are even more swollen-and the area is real difficult feeling if i press on them literally feels like golf balls -but still no pain. what can cause swelling without pain -also my lower jaw on both side feels the same (difficult) but does hurt when i press it. any thoughts are appreciated thank you- i know swelling can occur in infection but idodnt have any infected tooth or abcess etc .and if it is sinus infection wouldnt i have a lot of pain? any thing i can do for it?

Open Question: pain in hand after golf?

iv recently started playing golf with my husband and 2 weeks ago i started to receive alot of pain at the base of my pinky and ring finger in my left hand (my leading hand) it sometimes throbs but the pain is sharp and sore when i put any pressure on it. I went to a&e and kinda brushed me off . Pain is still there and still cant play golf! Any ideas what it could be and how i can help heal it!! Should I buy a 2010 or 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5i over the 2010 VW Golf coupe? Why or why not? Details: I live in Canada. I have the money. MPG isn't too much of an issue for me. Open Question: should i buy this volkswagen golf?

im currently looking at this volkswagen golf wolfsburgh hatch there selling it for $1500 in my town. here is what they say the problems are-- "It needs new fuel injectors, easy fix not very expensive Car runs fine just lags a little due to the fuel injectors has some rust on the body but not much a little front bumper damage due to an tiny accident before i owned the car but barley noticable the reverse on the car is gone but every other gears are in perfect shape. (Can receive a new tranny for 50 bucks from u-tug-it) The rear seats are also not fully installed, they are missing the welded mounting threads that are usually on the body of the car ( i have them half installed and the seats folded down the seat belts work and you can put the seats up but they are not secure) Everything else on the car is in fine shape"-----thats what they said do you think it would be a bad idea to receive this car and would the parts cost more than the car is worth. also here is the link-- http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/1827880815.html what do you think?

Open Question: I hate playing sports?

Hello. I am going into eighth grade next year. Our school has three different seasons of sports. Fall, winter, and spring. However, the school requires us in seventh and eight grade to play at least two seasons of sports. Last year, I only had to do tennis (which I liked) because fall i had bad allergies and my doctor said I shouldn't play winter. This year though, is different. I tried a winter sport last year and hated every second of my first practices and games. That is when my doctor said I dint have to play. This year, my doctor won't let me not play unless I am really sick, and my parents know when I'm faking. What should I do? I really hate playing sports? They are not enjoyable and make me upset. I mean, I'm physically active and the school has PE that I take. If they wanted sports for teamwork skills, why not give us an option to join a rock band club? I am not going to be playing sports after middle school. I just hate them. And they don't offer my favorite games like golf. And no, I can't start a golf club. Please help me.

Open Question: Xbox 360 game out there that is made for me?

I'm looking for a really good Xbox 360 game, hopefully one that I will like so much it'll seem like it was made for me. 1) I am more relaxed gamer. I can like games like New Super Mario Bros for the Wii, as well as a bit more tense games like Fable II (which I just adore) for Xbox 360. 2)I like RPG elements, such as clothing/appearance customization and skill/weapon upgrades, which can often be found in mmorpgs. 3) I prefer not to receive a game that is just pure action. I like action, but also want the game to be less straight forward. I like humor (though it is not a necessity) and freedom to explore the areas of the game. Linear games, such as Final Fantasy XIII, are acceptable, as long as the storyline, characters, and other features are captivating enough to still make me want to continue. 4) I don't want anything to gory for my taste. I was looking at Red Dead Redemption and saw that you can drag people on a rope while your horse runs... that's a bit too much for me. 5) Absolutely NO shooter or first person shooter games. Games like Metroid 3 Prime, any Call of Duties/Medal of Honors, and other fps games freak me out way too much. 6) You should know that I adore cooperative play, especially if it is usable both online and locally. The game does not have to be co-op possible, but if so, it's a huge bonus. 7) I am not open to MMORPGs. (If you recommend Dragon Age, tell me about the 360 version!) 8) The following are out: Bayonetta, Fable 2/3, FF13, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield 2: Bad Company, Just Cause, Mass Effect, Metro 2033, Red Dead Redemption, Any Resident Evils, Splinter Cell, or any golf games. 9) I want to have good graphics. They do not necessarily have to be amazing, but they can't suck. I also don't want the game to be too glitchy. 10) If you have any other suggestions, even if they go against something I said over, please put them here. I will look into them and if they seem good for me, you might receive the best answer still. Also, I prefer you tell me games that are out now, not that are going to be out soon.

Open Question: Should really kak football teams like Scotland, be allowed to have more players on the pitch?

Believe it or not, as an Englishman, I miss being able to watch Scotland fail miserably in major tournaments and just wish that they would qualify for once. As that is probably never going to happen again, I thought the only thing to be done is to change the rules so that pish needy, rubbish teams like Jockland have a chance.It would be a bit like the handicap in golf, where the poorest teams would be allowed to have more players on the pitch.Only question is, how many extra players would Scotland need to have on the pitch to actually win? 3, 4..10? Hello i am going to b a sophomore girl in high school. And i generally do not like golf but last year i was forced by my dad to play and i made varsity. And now it is my choice to play this year(which if i do decide i will quit after sophomore year). But i am not sure if i want to because it gets made fun of at school and it imbarassing for people to know i play. And if i do play i want to keep it below wraps. Open Question: Rat seems to be getting fatter...?

i dont know why she has been getting fatter recently. she is 2 years old and 7 months. i got her when she was 7 months at a rat breeder. so she is not pregnant because she has not been around any other rats since i got her two years ago. her tummy is rather big and squsihy, its not round like a golf ball sort of shape but more like shes just well filled out and an extremly big bum. i have noticed that she has been filling out more these past few months pretty quick every of a sudden now then the two years i had her for. she is still a very active rat gets around really well, but sometimes drags herself across the shavings as if her weight is holding her down as soon as she awakes and walks. im worried if its the amount of food im feeding her (she eats dry cat food, breeder fed her dog food) and occasionaly bread for a treat. her food is in a dish that is about an inch and a half in height. The thing is, i have a rat wheel in her aquarium but she does not use it, as she has never used a wheel in her life, she wont even look at it. if i am feeding her to much then what is the best way to diet her?? thanksss :) and adore from Zelda the rat.

I'm what some of you may call a sports addict. I have played many sports on a competitive level, including Football, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, Paintball, Fencing, Water Polo, Long Distance Swimming, Squash, Raquetball, Tennis, Paddle Tennis, Jai Alai, Martial Arts (Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and rising in Jiu-jitsu) Lacrosse, Alpine Skiing, Golf and my personal favorite, Rugby. I actually have two questions; What is the most difficult sport in the world (I want to try something new and challenging, as i said, sports addict haha), and which of the sports that I listed do you think is the most difficult? I know many of you will try to call me out on this but I have actually competed in, at the very least, club levels for each of these sports. actually, i havent yet competed in jiu-jitsu, my bad. also, add fantasy football to that list because according to yahoo its a sport haha

Open Question: Question for golfers about golf clubs?

I know there are woods, irons, and a putter. Some clubs are called wedges, drivers, and the like. So how do you select the best club for each time you strike the ball? Forgive me, as I don't know the best term for "addressing" the ball, or trying to move it towards the "cup", Serious answers only, please.

Open Question: 16th Birthday Party ideas?

My 16th birthday is coming this september and i have absolutely no ideas. i'm inviting about 20 girls every my age so i don't want it to be a sleepover. i also don't want it to be a really big formal "sweet sixteen" sort of party (ie renting a club, limo, etc). themes are okay but nothing corny like a luau, fiesta, scavenger hunt, etc. i really have no idea what to do. i was thinking maybe a pool party but what if it rains? My friends and i go bowling, laser tagging, mini golfing, movies, etc a lot so i really want my party to be more fun than that. please help!

Open Question: Am i addicted to video game?

Ok. I am a 14 year old male. I cant tell if i am addicted to gaming. I play about 1-5 hours during the school year and basically every day during the summer. But I do go out during the summer, to friends houses, golfing, and anywhere else. Sometimes i don't want to go grocery shopping or to some other thing that anyone would find boring. When i don't play games i do my chores. If i didnt have any home work to do, i watch TV. I can do that for about 2 hours then i go back to gaming. Sometimes, i don't even play, i just talk to people while Im on and i mess on my computer. I am physically fit, i adore golf, receive straight A's, and when my parents call me to receive off or do something, i do right away. What do you think? Am i addicted? Ok i play 1-2 hours on a school NIGHT, 1-5 on weekends. Oh and i would go over to my friends more often during school, but i have golf, and most of the time nobody invites me, but thats because they are every on the golf team also.
